Cable assembly

Scintilla Kft. offers reliable, custom cable assembly solutions backed by more than 30 years of experience. We undertake both small- and large-scale production, from design to finished product.

Cable and Wire Processing

One of Scintilla’s core competencies is precision cable processing, carried out on automatic and semi-automatic machines. We provide end-to-end solutions from cutting and stripping through crimping to complex cable harness assemblies. Our typical products include wiring harnesses for headlights, rear lights, airbags, and windshield wiper systems, carbon brush holders, as well as special wires equipped with thermal fuses. We also provide plastic overmolding of these components.

Electrical and Electromechanical Assemblies

We manufacture complex modules, units, and assemblies, including connector systems, switch modules, and other precision electrical subassemblies. All products undergo 100% functional testing.

Our production processes are supported by a modern automated machine park.
Key equipment includes:

·        KOMAX automatic cable assembly machines (Gamma and Alpha series)

·        SCHLEUNIGER cutting and stripping machines

·        IDC assembly stations (Stocko, Lumberg, etc.)

·        Extensive manual and semi-automatic crimping, stripping, and taping equipment

Most of our machines are equipped with crimp force monitoring, ensuring process stability and high quality.

 

Tool Shop

Our in-house tool shop provides a significant advantage for our partners.
Our CNC milling machines, lathes, laser cutting, and wire EDM equipment enable:

·        rapid prototyping

·        repair of tools, components, and parts

·        execution of maintenance tasks

·        fast adaptation of custom solutions

·        production of spare parts

The tool shop increases our flexibility and competitiveness, while shortening project start-up times for our partners.

 

Laboratory and Quality Assurance

The Scintilla laboratory offers a wide range of testing capabilities:

·        tensile and pull-out force testing (MAV)

·        cross-section analysis

·        hardness testing (Zwick/Roell)

·        high-voltage and electrical testing

·        digital microscopic inspection

·        climate and thermal stress testing

·        flammability testing (Wazau OPC001)

·        automated robotic cell testing (KUKA OCCUBOT)
